Welcome to the New Number Ones!

Each week we bring you the list of new series and special editions coming this Wednesday. We are highlighting what you need to put in your cart at the comic shop or digital marketplace.

Wow! This is a big list of new number ones. Both Marvel and DC have kicked off their big fall crossover events, and particularly for Marvel, that means a bunch of renaming books and new numbering. Besides the Big Two, the smaller publishers have a bunch of really interesting looking new series kicking off this week.

One other note: We are encouraged to see that quite a few of the new creator-owned debuts this week are written by women. Keep it up industry.
