A Note About DC Comics

If you are unaware, DC comics is in the midst of, let’s call it, a reset. For January and February, the majority of the main superhero universe books will be participating in an event called Future State. It includes a bunch of two-issue series and one-shots that explore the possible futures of the DC Universe.  A lot of our favorite creators are getting a chance to write and draw some big name characters and we are excited to see what they are going to do with them.

Following the Future State event, DC is shaking up the creative teams on most of their books and going back to the current numbering. In the meantime, here are some of the Future State books that we are looking forward to:

January 5th

Future State: Wonder Woman #1

By Joelle Jones

Future State: Swamp Thing #1

By Ram V. and Mike Perkins

January 12th

Future State: Justice League #1

By Joshua Williamson, Ram V., Marcio Takara, and Robson Rocha

Future State: Kara Zor-El, Superwoman #1
